Hi, I’m Matt Cochrane, the owner/operator at My Mind Design (MMD) - Creative Carpentry & Resin. We have recently relocated to Sydney from the Gold Coast and are enthusiastic about establishing connections within the local community. 


With over 20 years of experience in Construction and Property Management,  I offer a wide range of Carpentry and Handyman services across Sydney's Northern Beaches.

At My Mind Design, I offer a number of carpentry and maintenance services tailored to meet your needs. Heres a brief overview, for more detail have a look at our services page. 

  • General Carpentry Services:  As a solo carpenter, I offer dependable and personalized repair and maintenance services to keep your property in excellent condition. From fixing doors, furniture, and trim to handling framing and shelving, I provide hands-on craftsmanship tailored to your needs. Whether routine upkeep or urgent repairs, I am committed to delivering quality work with attention to detail and a focus on customer satisfaction 
  • Handyman:  
    Offering personalized handyman services, leveraging a diverse skill set to handle a wide range of small projects that may require expertise in different trades. Dedicated to providing efficient, high-quality solutions with a focus on client satisfaction, ensuring every project is completed to your exact specifications. 
  • Timber & Resin Art: Although my main focus is carpentry and handyman services, I also have a CNC Machine and workshop in which I create unique, handcrafted resin and timber artwork. This is presently mostly a "labour of love"  and something I offer on request.
